What was treated, and why
Ageing rarely happens in one place. Annie's plan treated four areas together, in proportion to each other, rather than filling any one of them on its own. That is the whole point of a full-face plan: a modest amount in each area, placed where support has actually been lost, so the face reads as rested rather than as treated.
Mid-Face and Cheeks
Loss of support at the cheekbone sits behind much of what people describe as looking tired: the hollow under the eye deepens and the fold beside the mouth gets heavier. Rebuilding that support is usually the first step, and it does part of the work of the areas below it. Filler is placed deep, on the bone, in small deposits.
Tear Troughs
Once the cheek is supported, the under-eye needs less. A small volume placed with a cannula softens the hollow between the eye and the cheek. This is the most delicate area on the face and the one where restraint matters most; it is treated last, and only as much as the cheek has left to do.
Lips
Subtle. The aim in a full-face plan is to restore the definition and hydration the lips have lost, not to enlarge them. A small amount, placed for shape and border rather than volume, so that the lips sit in proportion with everything else that has been done.
Chin and Jawline
Definition along the jawline and support at the chin frame the lower face and balance the mid-face above. Filler here is placed on the bone to sharpen the line from chin to angle of the jaw and to soften early heaviness, so the result holds from every angle rather than only from the front.

Risks, and how we reduce them
Dermal filler is a medical procedure and it carries medical risk. A full-face plan carries the same risks as a single area, in more places. Any clinic that tells you otherwise is not one to be treated at.
Which is exactly why who treats you matters. Dr Ashraf is a GMC-registered doctor, trained to recognise a vascular occlusion and to reverse it with hyaluronidase, the agent used to dissolve filler, which is kept in the clinic at all times. He also teaches: over 1,000 doctors, dentists and nurses have been trained by him in injectable technique and in complication management.

Full-face filler FAQs
How much filler does a full-face plan need?
Anywhere from two to twelve millilitres, depending on how much support has been lost and across how many areas. Annie's plan used ten. Many people need considerably less, and some are better served by treating one area first and reviewing. The volume is decided at the assessment and agreed with you before anything is injected.
Will ten millilitres look overdone?
Not when it is spread across four areas and placed deep, on the bone, where support has actually been lost. Ten millilitres in one area would look overfilled; ten across the cheeks, under-eyes, lips and jawline replaces what time has taken from each. The videos above show the result on the day. If you ever change your mind, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved.
How long does the appointment take, and is it all done in one visit?
Allow sixty to ninety minutes for a full-face plan: consultation and mapping first, then topical anaesthetic, then the treatment area by area. Many plans are completed in one visit. If you would rather split it, or if swelling in one area makes it sensible to wait before treating the next, the plan can be spread over more than one appointment.
Does it hurt, and what is the downtime?
Topical anaesthetic goes on first and the filler contains lidocaine. Most areas feel like pressure; the lips and the under-eyes are the most sensitive. Afterwards, expect swelling and tenderness for a few days, and possibly some bruising, most of all in the lips and under the eyes. Most people are back at work the next day with make-up on. The final result is what you see at two weeks, when we review you.
How long will it last?
Typically twelve to eighteen months. The structural areas, the cheeks, chin and jawline, tend to last longest; the lips, which move constantly, shortest. We assess what is still there before adding more, rather than topping up on a schedule.
What does a full-face plan cost?
From £650 for a two-millilitre Refresh plan to £2,600 for twelve millilitres. A ten-millilitre plan like Annie's is £2,200.
